The existence of any sort of god has nothing at all to do with rights."

," The existence of any sort of god has nothing at all to do with rights." Baloney, all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights.
This country was based on that 'enlightenment" philosophy.
They are called natural rights, the right of a human (even an animal) to defend themselves, to utter speech without coercion, natural freedom of movement etc. is natural.
If a government is atheistic, then people have no rights. They are just objects with no inherent (spiritual) value.
So if starving an entire country, to gain territory, and millions die, as the Communist government did to Ukraine (after Stalin took power) then it is perfectly morally justifiable?
Is that your take? It's morally justifiable in the name of power to starve children and adults to death?

Remember you cannot fall back on religious values.
Because your beliefs led to 110 million dead in the last century.
Yes, men write the holy books, with the inspiration of the Creator, but being flawed humans the books may not be 100% accurate.
But the basic principles are solid and prayer will direct you.
Why is it so important to you to defend your non-belief? Is it because you are not sure your right.
Yes, to a non believer a Creator standing on a cloud inventing man seems a little far fetched.
The only thing sillier, is that something (man) came from nothing.
I think your science has proven that is not possible.
Can you explain that problem to me?
