Explanation of religion and science.

Well if a person understands some facts it clarifies the situation.
Faith and science are two different subjects and used for two distinctly different purposes.
Science is used for determining facts in our natural world.
Faith is used for giving guidance and spiritual relief to people and build civilizations and is supernatural. They are two different topics.
Religion also predates science by some two thousand years. It is only natural that our ancestors made mistakes. Such as the Jews thought that the world was only 6000 years old because that's when Jewish genealogy stopped.
Many people like to believe these scientific mistakes invalidate religion. They are two different things; one is a fact-finding tool the other is a moral structure.
People of a scientific mind tend to think that science is the end-all and be-all. That what science cannot detect does not exist.
That is logically incorrect because the lack of evidence does not prove nonexistence
