Heterosexual marriage is for the protection of women, children, and society. Legal heterosexual marriage is a social contract. A human breeding pair produces children. Those children require someone to raise them and pay for them or society is going to be burdened with the care of these children. So as a society we require a contract that if the breeding pair produces offspring that they will take care of them financially and rearing duties. If they do not meet their obligations to the children, society has the right to go after the parents for the support of those children. If they divorce they go thru a legal process of dissolving the social contract and each parent has obligations and duties that are enforceable by law. Usually, the woman gets primary custody (which I strongly disagree with) however, the other parent has to pay for the support. So the social contract is for the protection of mothers and their children❕. Legal heterosexual marriage has nothing to do with romance or love. Homosexuals cannot have natural children. Their relationships are barren. There is no real reason for a homosexual marriage contract. It is a pretend marriage. It's a faux marriage for homosexuals with a political agenda. Although homosexuals should be allowed a civil union that includes a social contract of commitment. Rights of visitation, inheritance, etc. That's certainly fair and equal. The Cultural Marxist Left have had an ongoing psychological operation, called by them as "ideological subversion" The Russians call it "active measures" The point is to undermine the underpinnings of society and they are very good at it.
